June Theme day!

Today's day theme is "view from your (my) bedroom"... I don't want to be a bully but I couldn't decide about the photo, so I'm posting only 4 pics from my room. One amazing sky from January; the second, from last Monday (such a grey day); the next, a night shot with traffic lights and the last is about 2 years ago... Hope you like them! :)

Can't believe we're in June... Time flies!

Como cada primero de mes toca tema común y esta vez son las "vistas desde tu (mi) habitación". No quiero ser abusona, pero no me decidía con las fotos, así que esta vez van 4 ni más ni menos! la primera es un cielo chulísimo que me encontré en Enero; la segunda, la más reciente este pasado lunes; la tercera, por la noche y el tráfico de la M-30; y la última una nevada de hace 2 años...Espero que os gusten!! :)

No puedo creer que ya estemos en Junio... el tiempo vuela!

Maybe this is one the most special trips I've ever made... I was in Slovenia last November and this is Lake Bled, in northwestern, close to the Alps. Beautiful!

Theme day: A public mail box

So this is a public mail box near my house. This used to be the placed where my friends and I date, our meeting point. And behing the yellow theme day thing you can see Los Arcos roundabout I've showed you 2 times (one and two).
It's a long time since I don't write any letter... that's a pity, but emails are faster (confortable and cheaper) but less personal. I think that happens worldwide nowadays... maybe some day there were no mail box in the streets? I dont' think so :)

Pues este es el buzón protagonista del día. Aquí solía ser el punto de quedada con mis amigos para salir por ahi. Y detrás, veis la rotonda de Los Arcos que otras veces (una y dos) os he enseñado.
Hace un montón de tiempo que no escribo ni recibo ninguna carta. Es una pena pero el email es mucho más rápido (cómode y barato) aunque totalmente impersonal. Supongo que es algo que os pasa a todos... ¿algún día dejarán de existir los buzones en la calle? No lo creo...

Few days ago, I did find this guy dressing of "chulapo" selling "barquillos" in front of Royal Palace. It doesn't seem an exhausting job (he's very confortable sitting there, I think) but maybe a little bit boring... or not, I would be entertained just watching people walking by, what do you think?

Hace unos días, me encontré con este tipo vestido de chulapo vendiendo barquillos en frente del Palacio Real. No parece un trabajo agotador (parece bastante cómodo ahí sentado) pero tal vez un poco aburrido... o no, yo estaría súper distraída observando a la gente pasar! ¿Qué pensaís?

Theme day: What annoys you most in your city?

Well, if you ask me... I'd said TRAFFIC-JAM!!!! It's a long way to get home... not for the distance, just because there are lots of cars everywhere... And it really gets worse since last year because of the several highway-works happening... What if we people think a little and share the car? or another idea... we could take the bus!! ahaa... but it's to confortable ride your car from work to your door at home... pity, so please, someone must improve the alternatives, more buses, more underground, more and more to leave your car at home!
Take care of our planet!

Pues si me preguntaís... lo tengo muy claro, el TRÁFICO!!!! Es un largo camino hasta casa, el de todos los días, filas de coches inmóviles, la gente que se impacienta... Y realmente todo ha ido a peor estos último años debido a la cantidad de obras que hay en distintas carreteras de Madrid... Y ¿qué tal sería si cambiásemos de actitud y compartieramos el coche? o ¿y si vamos en bus? pero claro, es muy cómodo salir del trabajo y llegar a la puerta de casa en coche... es una pena, pero que alguien haga algo, hay que mejorar las alternativas, más autobuses, más metros, más y más ideas para dejar el coche en casa!
