Theme day: What annoys you most in your city?

Well, if you ask me... I'd said TRAFFIC-JAM!!!! It's a long way to get home... not for the distance, just because there are lots of cars everywhere... And it really gets worse since last year because of the several highway-works happening... What if we people think a little and share the car? or another idea... we could take the bus!! ahaa... but it's to confortable ride your car from work to your door at home... pity, so please, someone must improve the alternatives, more buses, more underground, more and more to leave your car at home!
Take care of our planet!

Traffic seems to the most common peeve so far. In the past, my justification for not car pooling has always been convenience. But how convent is setting in traffic? Today I walk to work and my only traffic congestion involves geese on the path through the park.

Ah yes, traffic again - my answer is the same - On yer bike! I ride the 12 miles to work in central london in 40 minutes - it would take me well over an hour in the car.

Although i'm not showing on the list (i was too late - eek!), i am participating in Theme Day.

It's hard for people to break habits (like riding to work alone in a car), so adding more buses etc, might just mean more empty buses clogging the streets.
Traffic jams seem to be a common thread in this months' Theme Day!

Oh yes, traffic jam is suck and very annoying especially when we are in a hurry. Nice shot!

The traffic doesn't bother me so much, but maybe that's because I'm a passenger as opposed to the driver. Every day we have a long way to drive about 50 miles round trip so we are in the car for quite a while, and my sister, who drives road rages most of the way. Even though we are in Texas, I'm glad she hasn't excercised her right to own a gun. =8O

Everyone agreed about Traffic jam and road works as annoyance, and me too.

Very annoying, isn't it. We are fortunate to have a good public transit system in Seattle, and it's getting better with the addition of a light rail system to the airport soon. But, on the bus it only costs $2 to $3 to get to the airport, and it's takes no longer than driving, plus there is no parking fee and no gas expense. Public trasit is seldom as bad as people who don't use it think, at least in my experience. Like Ham, we ride our bikes and walk, too. Seattle traffic is worse than California's where we grew up, and that was way bad. Nice shot for today's theme!

We have traffic problems every morning too. But I cycle to work, so it's not a problem for me.

Thanks for dropping by Nottingham DP. Please come again.

That's some jam. With better public transportation these could be a thing of the past.
