Theme day: Men (man) at work!
Click on image to enlarge it!
Few days ago, I did find this guy dressing of "chulapo" selling "barquillos" in front of Royal Palace. It doesn't seem an exhausting job (he's very confortable sitting there, I think) but maybe a little bit boring... or not, I would be entertained just watching people walking by, what do you think?

30 people want to say about...
Great daily life shot.I like the composition and point of view.Good colors and light.Well done!
What are barquillos?
Funny photo Dsole!!!
Barquillos are like the ice cream cones. The procedure is: you pay him and he makes turn a little roulette, and according to the number you get, you can eat more or less barquillos.Do you know what I mean??
I think he's got a great job! And he probably enjoys people watching all day.
I wouldn't mind doing this job, if I get to hang out in Madrid ;-)
It looks comfortable but sitting down too long can be tired also. Nice shot by the way.
Nice street scene Dsole
An interesting picture. It must be warm there. It is still cold, snow here and there, and nobody is sitting outside. Nice picture.
Thank you for stopping at my blog.
If it's 16 C at 1500 h, that's cool by Ozzie standards, he should be selling hot food. Nice architecture in the background.
Nice job, sitting down all day. He must get to meet so many interesting people. Lavender Lady, I'm with you tho - bit chilly in winter.
Thanks Dsole for passing my blog yesterday.
Jilly x
you're right....doesn't look terribly exciting, but he probably has his busy moments! great people-watching opportunity though.
Fascinating!
Hi Dsole! You're too funny! Santa London...I LIKE IT! And I'm with you...can sit and people-watch all DAY! Thanks for visiting...I have to be a better DPer and visit everyone MORE! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaah! I'm still trying to get "me" reestablished after losing myself in London...sigh~
;)
He should take photos of the passer-by 'cause his job looks a bit boring!!!
I hope he's selling some. Those two women look like they might buy.
I won't mind doing that for a week or so if the weather is not too cold. But knowing me, I would probably eat all the food before anyone get a chance to buy them.
He looks relaxed doing his job! He's probably enjoying people watching if he does a job like this a lot. Good Shot!
Aun se venden barquillos? Será en plan turista, parece sacado de la vervena de la paloma y no es una critica, me encanta los barquillos.
Barquillos... that was so long ago!
Amazing picture.
One of these days I'm going to buy a new camera and join the City Daily Photo. Should it be World Daily Photo, I could use the old pictures...
Take care
Gil
I can hear him thinking ...."roll on summer"
I like this study of human nature. At least he's trying or maybe just hoping...
Dsole, yo quiero barquillos, ¿qué le ponen?
I love watching people coming and going. Nice one.
And if he is boring, he can read or knit :))
Have a weekend, dsole!
Nice job, 'barquillos', meaning Ice Creams?
Interesting shot, love this!
give me a book and the occasional coffee breaks, i think i'll be happy working there :)
Loque pasa es qu eltio ese esta pensando: "hey Ruben, tomala con calma que el mundo se puede acabar, es mejor me que agarre sentado".
Poly
Is that his bicycle, I wonder?
wow, que rico el trabajo! Yo, igual que tu, estaria SUPER distraida mirando la gente...I love to "people-watch"! :-)
Pero me imagino que no me gustaria el cambio de sueldo!
