Caballero a contraluz

I guess you already know how I like this kind of statue post... And here I am, playing with the sun, the light and General Martínez Campos sculpture in Retiro Park.
It's almost real uh? Have a nice week!

Supongo que ya os habreís dado cuenta de lo que me gusta hacer fotos a esculturas que me voy encontrando por ahi... Y aquí estoy, jugando al escondite con el sol, con la figura imponente del General Martínez Campos, y su monumento en el Retiro.
Parece casi real, ¿eh? ¡Feliz semana!

Hello Dsole,

Is everything better now? Has your day brightened? I was sad to hear that you've been having a bad time of it lately. Here are my wishes for peace and joy.

I like the lighting, it makes the picture quite different to ordinary 'postcards for a tourist'

For reasons long to say I can only see the thumbnail on DP portal. Well, in this frame, at my eyes, it looks like: El ingenioso hidalgo don Quijote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes.

Probably it doesn't match anything but, as said, it's what it let feel me :-) --- Thank you Dsole.

There some tradition here in statues. I think it is if the person was a general he sits upon a horse. Good shot.

I like the effect. It is nice. I wonder how much detail is in the statue that appears to be lost? It might surprise you.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I appreciate seeing your name there.

Very nice silhouette of the statue.

I like your technique of shooting against the light. Most of the time, I try to shoot away from the light to get a good photo.
