(The) Sun is also a place here...
Click on image to enlarge it!
A sunset moment in Puerta del Sol (Sol Metro Station). It seems a collage, but hey, just zoomed it a little! if you want to see this place go to a previous post here. From left to right you can see an equestrian sculture of King Carlos III, Alcalá street (where you can see the top of Art Centre building and an imposing sculpture (click here for another view) in the roof of a headquarter bank and Tio Pepe neon signal which is really more than a simply ad.
Sol, this is a nice place to start your weekend at Friday night! Have a nice one there!
¡Buen finde!

Up to your usual nice tricks with the lighting, Dsole.....Tks. Great street scenes. You challenge me.
the sky looks so gloomy. i woulkd definately run into the 'sunny' metro!
There's a lot going on here! Love the contrasting styles, but particularly like the guitar-toting hat-wearing dude! Does that sign light-up at night?
Beautiful lighting captured in your image today!!
I like the way the light hits the buildings. Are the clouds coming or going?
Just up the road here there's a bus stop called David...
Angela
Very cool Metro sign - are they all that shape?
Oh yes, Ainz, Tio Pepe is not going anywhere!
Chuckeroon, thank you so much for your nice words :)
Edwin s that was exactly what I did! But it was just for going back to my house... so Angela, I think they were just passing by...
Chris & Deb, that's uncle Pepe! And yes it's light up at night, someday I'll show you!
Isabella, yes, they're all like this, you can click on Metro label to see other posts where it's the metro too :)
Sol and sunset plus horses and neons. I like that. Culture and night life. Venga, a disfrutar. Veo que te gusta el Silvio a mi también. Chao.
Is there still construction at Sol?
One can see a lot through this frame - so nice to look at, Dsole.
Great detail and so much to view. You have a good eye Dsole.
Beautiful photo, dsole. It's like art!!
It's a nice combination about the Sun, the light, the name of the Metro station & of course your name, great colourful picture!
Beautiful shot...the lighting in the shot is wonderful!
Thank u guys, :)
And yes Piika, there's still construction... they're making a new train station there. You can find a crane at the bottom right in the photo, close to a light-lamp.
Madrid is always under construction!
Cool, artistic looking shot - I like it!
