After a soft rain

Click on image to enlarge it!
Ok, yesterday, weather was fine, it was soft and sunny for a while so you can leave the coat at home. Even that, it rained! (you may see a couples of puddles there) But because we're on April it's such a normal thing. And there some saying/proverbs about that... I'll try to translate them:

En Abril, aguas mil.

On April, lots of water... (that sounds bad to me)
Marzo ventoso y Abril lluvioso hacen a Mayo florido y hermoso
Windy March and Rainy April, make May flowery and gorgeous

You can feel the rhyme can't you?
Is there any proverb in your country about April?

Very nice photograph. We have a similar saying that starts in January and ends in December.

The only parts I can remember without asking my wife are...

March winds bring
April showers
April showers bring
May flowers
May flowers bring
June brides

Thanks for all your visits.

Since when it´s summer there it´s winter here, it´s a little different. Here usually March is the rainy month. There´s a famous song called "Águas de maço" (waters of march), by Tom Jobim.

hey mandi, I think it's a Prunus... or something like that. The only thing about these trees is that the flowers stay in the tree for a little while and the fall at the moment, but when they bloomed they look gorgeous!

Abraham that's beautiful!

Monica, that sounds funny to me that you are on winter when we're on summer :)

thank u guys!
