GIRO BUS

Click on image to enlarge it!
Ok, this is something I found yesterday. The traffic signal says not parking there because then buses may not be able to turn. And someone added an H to BUS, and that's the story. USA president George Bush has a bad image here and people don't like him at all.... I don't want to hurt feelings but I found it funny/interesting...

Heh, I love that someone felt so strongly that they had to write "no" over and over again. Interesting find!

Not very popular in the States, either...

Ditto to what Isabella wrote...and because it would take an entire page to voice my feelings about the man, I shall refrain, but indicate I can wait until he is gone from office.

Whoops...should say "can't" wait.

hahaha... whose feelings might you hurt? We don't like him here, either. Yesterday I took a similar picture. Maybe I'll post it soon.

No hurt feelings, Dsole. Along with Lavenderlady, I'll keep my mouth shut for now, except to say I support the sign. :)

Hi Dsole, don't worry, as you see here, lots of people in the US don't like him either.

Dsole, you well know he's not like in Guatemala and particulary in La Antigua Guatemala; remember I posted a few entries about his visit around March 12th.

Saludos.

In France, you can see many graffitis and caricatures with puns about "Bush" and "boucherie" (butcher's shop)...

he, he, great find. I also found a graffiti stencil in Zurich that expresses a similar sentiment, so I'll probably post it one of these days.

Did you ever see a BBC comedy called the Vicar of Dibly starring Dawn French in the mid-90's? There was this character Jim that started his sentence with "No, no, no, no, no..." and then would say something. Sometimes it was "No, no, no, no, no parking on the lawn," and the like.

Count me in on the sentiment towards Bush.

Wow, how does the man stay in office?! Very few people here like him either. We're looking forward to your next elections as much as you are, USA... :)

It is amazing how one man can have caused so much damage in such a short time - not just in Iraq, even though Iraq is beyond devastation, but also his environmental policies, international affairs, national pride (or lack of it) and separation low morale. It baffles me even more how he gor reelected but I have to say, its not justh im but all his corrupt, lying, "I cannot recall", peeps who seem to manage a way to make scapegoats of the underlings when a corruption is exposed. Doesnt people in leadership take responsibilities for their actions anymore - its a sad statement of the "role models" we set for the younger people coming up the ranks. Giro Bush, Giro Cheney, GIro Gonzales, Giro Rumsfeld, Giro Wolfowitz and all the clowns he hired...
OK enuf ranting, just nice to see the one street sign I like =)
