Sunday out of town

This is how La Maliciosa mountain (2227 m) looked last Sunday (I guess today will be more snow there). I'm on my way to spend at the countryside the day. Even it has been raining almost all week it seems that today will be fine! (I hope so!). Sometimes it's very refreshing to go out of the city and relax a little...
Oh, I found some interesting report about La Sierra de Guadarrama, our mountain chain, in wikipedia, if you want to know more, click here (english version).
Have a great Sunday! :)

You deserve a break in the weather and your photograph is beautiful of a beautiful mountain. I think it would be an ideal place to visit.

Dsole, I can't believe either I'm not going to Madri. But that gives one great reason to plan another trip in the future!

Now, like you say, let's focus on the photo. I wonder why the mountain is called Maliciosa. Is it dangerous there?

Well, I told you about the sayings on the weather in Madrid and around...
Thanks for your comments on my 1996 Madrid pictures. Enjoy your long, long week-end. If you come to Lisbon, take note that our local holiday is on June 13th, St. Anthony’s (of Lisbon, forget Padua) Day!

Monica, as I read somewhere, it's called like that because that mountains seems to be the highest of the chain but it isn't, so she "lies" to the mountaineer. It's not a dangerous climb, I used to go hiking there!

And thank you guys, the weather was really fine, it didn't rain and my friends and I had such a great time! :)
