Metrópolis building

I feel amazed about this kind of buildings making corner. Metrópolis building is between Alcalá street and Gran Via and it has an absolute french style. It was built in the early XX century (1911) by two french architects and a spanish one. It has an impressive dome crowned with a winged statue of victory.

Me encantan estos edificios que hacen esquina. Este está entre la calle Alcalá y la Gran Vía, y presenta un estilo totalmente francés. Fue construido a principios de siglo XX, diseñado por dos arquitectos franceses y uno español. Tiene una cúpula impresionante coronada por una estatua de la libertad alada.

it is so much fun to "people watch" on the Gran Via!
I like that building very much. Good find! Could you have taken it closer? Perhaps you would have lost a bit of the perspective but the details would have been better...

Dsole, can I request more photos of people on the street. I'm always curious of how people dress and carry on the street. I assume everyone dresses the same but am always surprise when I see something different.

What a beautiful building! It must be pretty spectacular to turn a corner and suddenly see something like that.
I've never seen a building like that with a dome! Unusual. Nice looking street.
